Lawrence brings invaluable experience supporting teaching and learning, human capital development, culture, climate, and family/community engagement on a large scale. He served most recently as Chief of Community Engagement and Strategic Partnerships in the Clarke County School Dsitrict in Athens (GA). His experience designing and deploying initiatives, strategic planning, training, and managing multiple departments as well as maintaining a community coalition of 400+ stakeholders bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise to the work of building the capacity of educators in a wide variety of school districts. Lawrence earned his Master of Science – Education at University of Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. in Educational Administration & Policy from the University of Georgia.
