Michael Curran-Hays, Executive Director

As Executive Director, Michael oversees all aspects of TregoED strategy and operations.  His service on TregoED’s board since its inception, is a direct reflection of his commitment to education and its ability to positively change student lives. Michael began his career as an ESL and middle school teacher in Tucson, AZ.  He joined us from Kepner-Tregoe with extensive experience in executive leadership leading all consulting and training services in North America with deep expertise in business process improvement and strategy.  His commitment to the importance of building capacity and ensuring it leads to desired outcomes are an asset in helping our client school districts meet their goals and objectives.

Kathy Blackburn, Ed.D., Executive VP – Leadership Services

Kathy, former Executive Director of TregoED, has worked for over 20 years throughout North America helping educational leaders effectively address their most challenging problems and decisions.  Her experience and skill in facilitating Education Leadership Development and Consulting, Continuous Improvement and Collaborative Problem Solving have built the capacity of scores of teachers, leaders, and board members.   Kathy, a former district and school leader in the large urban school district of Orange County, FL, gained valuable leadership experience from classroom to cabinet level. She earned her Doctorate of Education from the University of Central Florida in Education Leadership.

Patricia Schwarber, Director of Leadership Services

Patricia has been successfully developing client relationships and providing delivery and account management services for districts and organizations throughout the US for over 20 years. She also assists in securing funding.  Prior to joining TregoED, Patricia was a partner and senior consultant with Kepner-Tregoe Inc. Patricia designed and facilitated engagements in a variety of areas including strategy formulation and implementation, skill development, team building, and productivity improvement. Her in depth knowledge of TregoED processes has allowed her to tailor her workshops to meet the needs of teachers and leaders at all levels.

Matthew Sipes, Ed.D., Director, Client Relationships and Success

With almost 20 years in education, Matthew brings a wealth of essential skills and knowledge to our team. From Special Education teacher to district leadership team, his background in leadership development, strategy articulation, student support services, and innovative instructional strategies provides a unique perspective along with hands-on experience in many of the challenges that districts face today. Most recently, Matthew directed the successful transition from in-person learning to virtual learning for over 20,000 students, created and implemented a program that is aimed at improving learning outcomes for vulnerable students across 10 campuses, and was a part of a collaborative effort to design and deliver diversity training for over 4,000 employees. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor for the College of Education at Texas Christian University. Matthew earned his Master’s in Education at Texas A&M-Commerce University and his Doctor of Education at Southern Methodist University.

 

Cynthia Richetti, Director of Operations/Administration & Product Development

Cynthia has been with TregoED since its inception and has served in several capacities, including: consulting and delivery, management, and product development. She is co-author with Ben Tregoe of Analytic Processes for School Leaders (ASCD, 2001) and has co-authored several articles. Her experience and knowledge of TregoED processes and andragogy has been key to the success of our relevant casework and workshop facilitation. Prior to joining TregoED, she was a consultant with Kepner-Tregoe, Inc. Cynthia holds a B.A. degree from Colgate University and a M.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Caroline Gregorovic, Office Manager

Carol works from our HQ in Princeton, NJ and supports all aspects of TregoED. Prior to joining TregoED, Carol was a senior coordinator with Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., an international management consulting firm. She held a variety of positions in desktop publishing, production, management, and administration. Carols skills and attention to detail in managing the business end of our organization, is invaluable in providing a professional look and feel to our products and services.

Sandra Wozniak, Director of Technology and Communications

Sandra manages the design and delivery of our technology, communications, professional development and marketing-related products.  Prior to joining TregoED, Sandra taught for 33 years in the New Jersey public schools. Former recipient of  NJ Middle Level Educator of the Year and  J. Thomas Kane Presidential Award for enhancing Middle Level Education in NJ, she has served as President and on the Executive Board of the NJ Association for Middle Level Education for over 20 years. She received her B.A., Masters, and Supervisory Certification from Rutgers University.
