Arthur Mills IV joined America’s Promise Alliance in November 2022 as Chief Operations Officer, leading the organization’s finance, human resources, legal, and technology teams. His wealth of experience from his previous private sector, school district, and education-focused nonprofit roles provides him with a unique perspective on this work and informs his leadership.

Mills also is the Founder and President of Mills Management Group, a boutique consultancy that provides strategic advisory services for mission-driven firms and community-based organizations.

Arthur holds a B.A. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Finance and Community Economic Development from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, now based at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, CT.
